Complex Wound Management Program
Texas Specialty Hospital offers
evaluation and treatment specific to each type of wound and specific
staging based on established protocols. In addition, the program
includes the following:
- Dedicated wound management team
- Aggressive nutritional management team
- Coordination with physical therapy for strengthening and pressure relief
- Reassessment of each wound at each dressing change to ensure the plan of care is current
- Isolation capabilities
- Intravenous therapy
- Specialty beds and pressure relief equipment
- Wound VACs
- Lab and pharmacy available
- Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment administered on an out or in patient basis
- Inpatient hospital and Outpatient clinic
attended by a team of Physicians experienced in plastic surgery,
vascular, and limb salvage.
