Texas Specialty Hospital at Dallas is a 66-bed, Long-term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH), located minutes from the Dallas Medical District, specializing in the care for the medically complex patient. We offer an interdisciplinary approach to resident care allowing us to place the focus on the individual patient through our team efforts. Our facility is accredited by Joint Commission Association of Hospital Organizations, certified by Medicare and participates in a variety of insurance plans. We are proud to be the first LTACH in Dallas. 

Specialty hospitals, like Texas Specialty Hospital, are acute care facilities for patients who require extended hospitalization to meet their medical needs. Our patients require frequent observation and care from a team of specialists. We provide the patient with the optimal level of care while transitioning patients to the next appropriate level of treatment such as an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, skilled nursing facility or to their own home with outpatient wound care and hyperbaric, or home health services.
